Medical Advisor

The Medical Advisor will report to the Medical Director in the Danish Affiliate in Ørestaden. The Medical Advisor will be field based but drive medical activities in close collaboration with colleagues from Medical Department, Sales and Marketing towards opinion leaders among general practitioners and hospital specialists.

The Medical Advisor will provide medical input for the development of medico-marketing activities, input to and sign-off on promotional material and activities, and delivers internal and external medical information and contributes to the education function. The part of the job which addresses field responsibility tasks, will geographically be directed mostly towards the western part of Denmark (Fyn/Jylland), but there will also be activities in Greater Copenhagen area and Zealand.

Job profile:

·          Provide medical support to relevant products with a strong focus on diabetes therapy

·          Provide medical input for the development of medico-marketing strategy

·          Sign-off on promotional material

·          Deliver internal and external medical information and education

·          Liaison with Key Opinion Leaders and investigators

·          Coordination with field force colleagues

·          Will be in close contact with all colleagues in Denmark (e.g. PM’s) - and in particular Marketing, Sales and Medical – as well as international colleagues in Market Access and Medical/Marketing (HQ)

Candidate profile:

·          Experience from similar role would be an advantage but is not a must

·          Ideally experience with and knowledge of diabetes products

·          Clinical experience within endocrinology is an advantage

·          Some experience with clinical research and Good Clinical Practise

·          Maybe 3-8 years of practical clinical experience

·          Has a lot of drive and a positive can-do attitude

·          Talent for ressource management
